Being happy seems childish to people today As if being miserable proves that you're very deep But let me tell you something Joy is a rebellion And not everyone has the power to do so When the world is constantly complaining And everywhere there is only stress and burnout Then protecting your peace Choosing your happiness It's not ignorance That's actually quiet strength Everyone looks for reasons for pain But sometimes you have to choose happiness without reason For yourself To feel that Yes, I'm alive Not for aesthetics Not for reals But for yourself So yes Joy is not weakness It's your loudest no To everything that tries to break you And the biggest yes is for yourself
