So another big debate, owning a house or renting a house? Numbers don't favour buying a house. Let's say I am 23 years old and I take a house. So one, I have blocked my capital. Second, I have taken a burden which could have been replaced by something which was more variable. My friend's brother got married after earning Rs 1.25 lakhs a month. And they took a house which was a 3 bedroom home kitchen. Now just imagine they are under so much stress that almost 65% of their income is going in. Young couple. They just got married. You had to roam around, have fun. You know, why did they take a 2 bedroom home kitchen? You know what was the reason they gave me?
